See Who Registered a Result
Confirm when an administrator registered or renewed a completion—and who did it.
Situation
Someone shows as Approved (or holds a certificate), and you need to know if an administrator registered or renewed the result for them—and who that was.
Outcome
You can open Result details in Analyze (or the Result audit log on the profile) and see admin origin and actions with names and times when they were recorded. Learner-taken results have no special origin chip.
Who
Administrators. Managers and collaborators with Analyze access (managers: users in managed groups; collaborators: content they’re tied to). Profile audit log is for administrators.
Path
- Open Analyze → User results and find the person × content row—Progressions.
- Open Result details and read origin / Event history as in Result Registration History.
- Optionally open the same person in Users and Profiles and use Result audit log on the certificate row.
Tips
- Newest participation is listed first when someone has taken the content more than once.
- Excel exports do not include who registered the result—use Result details or the audit log.
- “Registered by…” appears only for admin-registered completions—not for ordinary learner attempts or enrollment alone.
