Certificates That Look Like Your Brand

Design your own certificate templates in Configure, set defaults by content type, and pick a published design on each course—without waiting on a custom request.

You can now design completion certificates yourself in Configure, publish what you need, and choose the right design when you turn on issuance in Create—no custom request for a new layout.

Certificate designs

  • Design in Configure — Under Customize Your Workspace → Certificates, open Designs, create a New design, and lay out an A4 page with text, lists, images, background, lines, and shapes. Preview a sample PDF, Save a draft, then Publish when it should issue.
  • Learner and workspace variables — Drop in tokens such as name, content title, issue and expiry dates (with a date format), company name, logo, and brand colour so each PDF fills in at issue time. Fonts include options for Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic (with right-to-left for Arabic).
  • Defaults by content type — On the Default tab, pick a published template for Course, Imported Package, Program, and Meetup—or keep Built-in design. Content without its own choice uses that default.
  • Pick a template per content — In Create, open Certificate issuance, enable the certificate, then under Certificate template search or select a published design. Leave it on the default when the workspace default is enough. Changes apply to newly issued certificates; existing PDFs stay as they are.
  • Safe republish and delete — Publishing updates the design for content that uses it; certificates that already have a generated PDF keep that file. Delete shows attached courses and blocks delete while a template is still a workspace default.
