Keep People in Sync From Your SFTP Export

When HR already drops a full user file on SFTP every night, Skillhabit pulls it—so joiners and leavers land without a custom SCIM or API job.

You know the awkward middle ground: Entra is not the source of truth, but you also do not want to build SCIM. If another system already leaves a delimited user file on SFTP, Skillhabit pulls it for you.

  • SFTP CSV Ingestion — Under Configure → Connections → User provisioning, connect to a remote CSV (or similar delimited file), map the core columns, and turn the integration on. Skillhabit syncs immediately, then once per day (full file). Use Sync now anytime.
  • Test before you go live — Test connection checks that Skillhabit can reach the file; passwords stay write-only after save.
  • Archive leavers — People owned by this integration who vanish from the file are archived—never deleted.
  • Extra columns via attribute mappings — Map department and other headers under Configure → Connections → Attribute mappings with Source = CSV column.
  • Size limit — SFTP CSV fits about 10,000 rows or 10 MB (whichever you hit first). Bigger directories need Entra, SCIM, or the External API.

Ask your Skillhabit contact to enable SFTP CSV Ingestion for the workspace first.
